Thank you to all the students (and parents) that celebrated the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday by making it a day of service. We are busy organizing the photographs of our students working in their homes, neighborhoods and communities to display in our main hallway next week.
Surveys were distributed today for Enrichment Cycle II. Please complete the survey and send it back to school with your child next week. Do not send money! The survey does not register your child for an after school program, it just gives us an indication of the clubs your child would like to join!
Permission slips for Saturday school for selected students in grades 3-5 are being sent home today. Please return permission slips to school on Monday.
Thanks to everyone that bought tickets to the annual “Father Daughter Dance” (being held on Friday February 8thfrom 6:30-8:30pm). The dance is filled to capacity. No additional tickets can be sold.

Tonight is movie night! At 6:30pm, The Incredibles 2 will be showing. Just pay $3 at the door. Snacks will be available. Remember, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Our school’s Read-A-Thon is set to launch on February 1st and end on February 28thand PS172 is gearing up to sponsor a book swap the week of Feb. 11th. Kids can trade in their “like new” or “gently used” books and swap them for something “like new” to read. Children will be able to swap up to 5 books and swapped books should be appropriate for their grade level. Book collections will take place on 2/4/19 through 2/7/19. A Flyer will be sent home next week and posted on Dojo with additional information.
